Ivet Lalova awarded the medals to athletes on the students` Olympiad “Globul Start” held in Sofia. One of the winners was Radostina Stoyanova, student at Deutsche Schule, Ruse.

  • A girl from Ruse won Austrian Embassy first prize for an essay (Utro, 3rd July, 2006)

Christina Vicheva, an 11-year student at Deutsche Schule won first prize in an essay competition organized by the Austrian Embassy in Bulgaria.

Libraries from Germany, the USA and Russia have sent letters calling for copies of the book “The German Issues in Bulgarian newspapers 1945 - 1949” written by Nikolai Chakarov (Deutsche Schule teacher in History)

  • Sprachdiplom given to twenty seniors (Utro, 15th May, 2006)

Twenty of Deutsche Schule seniors were given certificates that can be used for application in German universities. Thus, the students do not need to take a language exam.

  • Ruse Youth Centre gave out golden and silver brooms to young cleaners (Utro, 22nd-23rd April, 2006)

Deutsche Shule, Ruse was awarded for taking a huge part in the “Clean the School Area” campaign.
